Find a new scent (candles, perfumes, hair products)

Rub an essential oil on your palms and inhale; burn an essential oil diffuser or drop some essential oil in with your laundry

Take a mid-day nap; meditate

Wrap yourself in soft and decadent fabrics: silks, cashmere blankets

Go see a romantic, foreign film at a theater

Meet friends at karaoke (singing in groups releases oxytocin...seriously!)

Wander through a special exhibit, pop-up boutique, or bookstore

Go to a concert or dancing

Call a friend to catch up while you're walking through beautiful scenery—or talk a walk together!

Try on new clothes, even ones you can't afford (YET!) 

Go with friends and choose clothes for each other

Take a long, bubble bath or go to a Korean spa with friends

Cuddle a pet, hug friends, hold hands with your sweetie

Make a mug of your favorite hot drink and write in your journal—or bring a book to a beautiful café
Pick a nearby errand and use it as an excuse to go on a walk—get moving!

Walk around a totally new neighborhood; take your pet to a dog park in a new area.

Put on a danceable playlist and see how long it takes for you to get off the couch

Organize/seasonalize your closet

Do housework while listening to a podcast or some high-energy beats

Go to karaoke—and belt out that anger!

Or, go for a drive and sing at the top of your lungs while listening to the stereo

Go play! Go-cart, video games, laser tag, experience rooms, batting cages, rock-climbing gyms

Do yard work: rake leaves (and feel free to jump in the pile), do outdoor planting

Go for a solo walk or run

Take a vigorous cardio class, like kickboxing, spin or martial arts; swim laps

Get hot and sweaty on the dance floor (the more crowded, the better)

Write an angry letter and burn it ceremonially

Detox negative-vibe items from your home (that ex's tee shirt, the gift from the frenemy who betrayed you...bye!)

Post an auto-responder, put your phone on airplane mode and go on a digital detox (read: enjoy an interruptions-free day)

Take yourself on an adventurous solocation, for a day or even a week!

Go have dinner by yourself at a restaurant or take yourself on a a date, challenging yourself to enjoy your own company

Practice saying no to requests for a day, without giving any reason and without apologizing. "No." is a complete sentence.
