Lesson 2: Design Your Dream Relationship
Love Planets in the 12 Houses

The Love Planets, as we're defining them in this course, are the Sun, moon, Venus and Mars. Depending on your time of birth, they could land in any of the twelve houses of your natal chart.
If you think of the planets as the actors in the movie of your life, and the houses as the stage or "set" where their scenes play out, this gets pretty interesting. You may discover that one of your love planets is located in a somewhat unromantic house, such as the pragmatic 6th. But hey, you never know what can happen between the spreadsheets, wink-wink. (Er, sorry.)
The Sun and Mars: Yang
Through the looking glass of love, we view the Sun and Mars as the proactive planets. Their energy is radiant, outward-focused and "yang." Their house placement in your chart reveals where and how you may pursue the objects of your affections, and where you might need to dial up (or down!) some of that take-charge energy.
Venus and the Moon: Yin
Venus and Moon are receptive. They reveal your bonding style and how open you are to someone else's seductive and romantic advances. Want to be wooed? Their house placement can help you figure out how to set the stage for seduction—or simply to be comfortable enough to let your guard down.
In what houses do your Love Planets land in your chart? In the next two exercises, we'll do another interpretive dance to help you design your dream relationship.
